Assay Specifications
Determinations are performed on a "sample charge" basis in which only the costs for the assay of your samples are charged to you.
Same day "stat" assays are available for some hormones at an increased cost. A minimum two-week advance notice is requested for these determinations.
All results are based on duplicate or triplicate determinations of a sample. Each assay is run with a unique standard curve and a range of controls. Quality control parameters can be provided to investigators who wish to document assay performance for publication of data.
Investigators are encouraged to contact the laboratory for details on specimen collection and sample storage.
